| Well, yeah, but that's not something I like to think about. Parents and families are a touchy subject. Of course, it is hard for people to understand how someone can come from a couple who didn't fall in love, but what if you're adopted because some teenagers were stupid or something? That's not something you really want brought to mind, thinking about how maybe your parents were having hormonal issues and ended up having unprotected sex. Bringing up a subject like this is risky and assumptious. |

| The whole point of the song is that two people fell in love and started a family that grew from there. It's that simple. Attempting to split hairs about unprotected sex or adoption is completely irrelevant to the point of the song since 2 people still fell in love somewhere in that family's history, recent or otherwise, hence why any of us are here (the fact that we are all originally here for the survival of the species is also irrelevant). |

| I suppose I shouldn't agrue with you. You sound like a person who's very well off or such, maybe, and knows their family. And after all, this is a country song, so I shouldn't have expected something deep or anything. But after all, thinking about two people falling in love somewhere along the line in your family is not the most pleasent thought for some families, and I don't find this song to be at all 'sensitive' to this, because you have to admit, it is a real issue. |

Not everyone is a direct product of stupidity or violence, nor has every family (current or past) experienced hate or split up. The same for future generations. | i was a pregnant teen, and my baby came from love, i love my boyfriend, now my fiance, i just wasnt ready for a baby, there are MANY more births from parents who are PLANNING it or who are surprised but HAPPY about it, than from ppl having casual sex or rape, hes singin about love births not the accidental pregnancies in the world. yes, unplanned precnancy is an issue, a growing one too, but that doesnt mean that just because you dont plan on getting pregnant you dont love your partner. |

| the adoption thing fits too because even if you were the child of a young couple who didnt want you, you could have easily been abandoned somewhere, but two people fell in love and wanted to start a family and adopted you, dont take everything so literal, just think about the point of the song, its that love is an amazing thing that people need in their life because love creates miracles, its a beautiful song if you if you think about the point and not change the context into accidental births |
